Capabilities

One platform across the entire care enterprise

Five pillars, one patient record, one financial truth — no interface engine holding your hospital together.

Electronic Health Records

Longitudinal patient charts, clinical documentation, CPOE with order sets, e-prescribing, results review and closed-loop medication administration — one record across every care setting.

Revenue cycle management

Eligibility and prior authorization, charge capture, coding assistance, claims scrubbing and submission, denial management, patient billing and payment plans — from encounter to zero balance.

Population health

Disease registries, care-gap identification, risk stratification and outreach worklists — manage panels proactively and document quality measures as a by-product of care.

Patient engagement

Self-scheduling, reminders, telehealth visits, a patient portal for results, records and bills, and secure messaging — the patient journey, digital from first appointment to final payment.

AI-powered clinical tools

Ambient clinical documentation, evidence-based decision support at the point of order, predictive risk flags for deterioration and readmission, and AI-assisted coding — clinicians augmented, never replaced.

Labs & diagnostics

Laboratory information workflows — orders and specimen tracking, results with critical-value alerting, instrument integration and reference-lab connectivity for independent and hospital labs alike.

Clinical & financial, together

Margin and medicine were never separate problems

Health systems run on two ledgers that rarely agree: the clinical record and the financial one. Nexus Health closes that gap — every documented encounter drives clean charge capture, every order carries its financial context, and leadership sees cost, quality and capacity on one dashboard.

  • Documentation to claim, no re-keyingCharges captured from clinical activity, scrubbed against payer rules and submitted clean the first time.
  • Denials worked, not written offDenial worklists with root-cause analytics — fix the pattern upstream, not just the claim in front of you.
  • Enterprise back office, nativePairs with Nexus Financials, Procurement, Inventory and HCM — the hospital's GL, supply chain and workforce on the same platform DNA.
  • Interoperable by standardHL7 FHIR APIs, document exchange and lab interfaces — because no hospital is an island.

Built for hospitals, sized for clinics

The same platform scales from a single outpatient clinic to a multi-facility health system — because modules activate per organization, not per invoice surprise.

  • Outpatient clinics & groupsFast ambulatory workflows: schedule, chart, order, bill — a visit closed in minutes, not tabs.
  • LaboratoriesIndependent and hospital labs run orders, specimens, instruments and results with critical-value alerting and client billing.

FAQ

Nexus Health, asked and answered

Can Nexus Health exchange data with other EHRs and national systems?
Yes. Interoperability is standards-first: HL7 FHIR APIs for records and scheduling, document exchange for referrals and transitions of care, and lab/imaging interfaces — so patients arrive with history and leave with continuity.
How is protected health information secured?
PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role- and context-scoped (a scheduler sees demographics, not psychiatry notes), every record view is audit-logged, and break-glass access is controlled and reviewed. See our security page for platform-wide controls.
We're migrating off a legacy EHR. What does that look like?
A phased migration: patient demographics, problem lists, medications, allergies and document archives move with validation reports; historical charts remain viewable; go-live is staged by department with command-center support through the first weeks.
Do the AI clinical tools make decisions for clinicians?
No. AI drafts documentation for clinician review, surfaces evidence and risk flags at the point of decision, and suggests codes for coder validation — the clinician always confirms, and every AI-assisted action is attributable and auditable.
Can it run alongside the Nexus ERP Suites?
Natively. Nexus Health is a standalone product, but it shares platform DNA with the suite — so hospital finance, procurement, inventory and HR can run on Nexus modules with the clinical platform feeding them in real time.
